Burnt Hills, NY Edward A. Schermerhorn, of Burnt Hills, NY died in the town of Ballston, New York. Ed was born in Buffalo, NY on May 28, 1958. He was the son of Corinne A. Morse Schermerhorn and the late William R. Schermerhorn. He was married to, and is survived by, Kristine Schermerhorn. He grew up in both Simsbury Connecticut and later Clifton Park, NY. Ed graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 1976. He became a master electrician and ran his own electrical contracting business for over twenty years. Ed was a long time resident and member of the Rock City Falls, NY community. He was an avid outdoorsman, talented craftsman and a trusted and loyal friend to many. Edward is survived by his mother, Corinne, his three brothers, Richard and his wife Lindy of San Diego, CA, Robert and his wife Lisa of Saratoga Springs, NY and Timothy and his wife Sharon of Doylestown, PA. He is also survived by his step son, Ryan Maranville, his two nieces, Kayla & Caroline Schermerhorn, and his nephew, Michael Schermerhorn. Family and friends are invited to join a memorial service for Ed at 10:00 am Saturday, May 29th at St Paul's Catholic Church, Route 29, Rock City Falls, NY.
