Saratoga Springs, NY - Edward "Red" Willsey, Jr., a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs, passed away Thursday (Apr.15, 2010), at home. He was 64. Born June 26, 1945 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Edward Willsey, Sr. and the late Beatrice (Lang) Heritage. He was a devoted husband to his wife Mary Ann. He worked for WJ Grande & Sons as a mason for approximately 25 years. He also worked for Capital District Supply Co. as a truck driver and then in the warehouse. He was there for approximately for 20 years. For the last few years he was retired. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann, a daughter: Ann Marie and her husband Jeff; two grandsons: Austin and Eric of St. Stephen, NB, Canada; his five sisters: Dorothy Ogden of Washington, Beatrice Everetts of North Carolina, Florence Goyer, Marion Hanson, and Frances Rose, all of Saratoga Springs; one brother: Charles Willsey of Nevada; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by one brother: Ralph Duell of Saratoga Springs. Eddie was a wonderful man. He gave as much as he could and would never ask for anything in return. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was full of life lessons and love and he will be sorely missed by family and friends alike. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Thursday (Apr. 22, 2010) at Maplewood Cemetery, Weibel Avenue. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
