Saratoga Springs – Efrain Valentin passed away on May 30, 2021 at his home of 40 years, 35 Oak Street in Saratoga Springs surrounded by his loved ones.

Born March 5, 1954 in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Victor and Cruz Riviera Valentin. Efrain was an avid horseman at the Saratoga Flat Track for 30 years. He worked for many years as an environmental technician at Skidmore College.

In addition to his parents, Efrain was predeceased by his daughter Sydney Maria Valentin.

He is survived by his spouse Christine Miglucci; sons Marco (Tiffany), Miguel (Monique), Lewis (Crystal), and John Paul (Antonina); his daughters Isabella, Jessica (John) and Josita Mercier (Rich); many grandchildren, Derek, Travis, Olivia, Mia, Alonzo, Taylor, Layla, Rodney, Xaiver, and Jack; and his great-grandchildren Rown, Rodney, Roland, and Anna Jane.

Relatives and friend may call from 9:30am – 10:30am, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue.

Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
