Obituary

Wilton, NY - Eileen P. O'Connor, formerly of the Home of the Good Shepherd, passed away peacefully at Wesley Health Care Center on Nov. 1, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 5, 1926, Eileen is predeceased by her husband John J. O'Connor, her son John K. O'Connor and her parents Charles and Lillian Pemberton of Saratoga Springs, NY. Eileen retired from Monroe Woodbury Central School District in 1990. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity, Saratoga Heritage Garden Club and a parishioner of St. Clement's Church. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Hommel (Skip) of Coeymans Hollow, NY and Joanne Buscema (John) of Gansevoort; four grandsons; two great granddaughters; a brother Jack Pemberton (Fran) and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Eileen was proud to be a military wife and mother. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11am Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at Our Lady's Chapel, St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am in the church. Burial will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville. Donations may be made in Eileen's name to St. Jude-Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
