Saratoga Springs - Eleanor J. Warner peacefully passed away at the age of 95 on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Wesley Health Care Center where she had lived for over a year.
Eleanor was born to the late Harry and Delia Jenkins in Saratoga Springs on September 17, 1923 and she graduated from Saratoga Springs High School. Following graduation she worked as a legal secretary for many years and then at Saratoga Springs City Hall in the court system and eventually the civil service office. She's been a lifelong parishioner at Saint Clement's Church, she was an active member in the Special Olympics, and enjoyed playing golf, cards, gardening, and outings with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Eileen (Tom) Santoro and Janet (Geoff) Konis, her grandchildren; Kyle (Katie), Sarah, Brian (Jacy), Tommy (Puja), and Deanna, and great grandchildren; Lily, Gabby, Blakely, Mason, and Sadie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11am at St. Clement's Church (231 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs) by Reverend Robert Harrison, C.Ss.R. There are no calling hours.
Burial will follow at 1pm at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Eleanor's family is requesting memorial donations in her name to The Wesley Health Care Center Foundation to benefit the nursing staff of 2 Victoria.
