Galway - Elinor R. Kondenar, born December 17, 1958, passed away on April 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet joy in life’s simple pleasures.

Elinor adored her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and she found deep contentment in tending to her chickens, nurturing her gardens, and spending peaceful days by the sea. She especially cherished her vacations to Maine, where visiting the Nubble Lighthouse became a beloved tradition.

Elinor dedicated 38 years of her life as an LPN at Maplewood Manor, caring for others with steady hands and a generous heart. After retiring, she continued to bring warmth to her community through her work at Smith’s Pie Shop. She was married to the love of her life, the late Marty Kondenar, for 43 years until his passing in 2023. Elinor also had a special place in her heart for her dogs—Lucy, Max, and Molly—who were constant companions.

She was predeceased by her husband Martin, her father Lawrence, and her brother Robert.

Elinor is survived by her son Martin III and his wife Jennifer; her daughter Renae Cuozzo and her husband Raymond; her cherished grandchildren Mikenzie, Miley, Madison, Ciena, Gavin, and Raylan; her mother Kathryn; and her siblings Larry, Dale, Dawn, Peggy, Beth, and Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5-8 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.

A funeral home service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Burial will follow in North Milton Cemetery.
