Elizabeth J. Flanagan Donnelly, (Bet) 94, passed away on October 15, 2024. Betty was born (April 1, 1930) in Troy NY to Thomas and Elizabeth Flanagan. She proudly graduated from Catholic Central High School Class of '48.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Bill.  She is survived by her three daughters: Mary (Ray) O'Conor, Cathy (Bob) Campchero, Colleen (Mike) Mooney;her grandchildren: Brian (Kim) O'Conor, Meghan (Chris) Homicz, Rob (Dee) Campchero, Emily (Ramon Rosado)Campchero, Erin (Kiernan) Scanlon, Kailyn (Jamie) Bray, Jillian (Brendan) Montrello; Great grandchildren: Jack and Emma Homicz, Natalie Rosado, Kiernan and Ford Scanlon, and Rory Bray.

Bet was an avid bridge player, gardener, swimmer and lover of all things beautiful. She had a special gift of reaching out to others in an inclusive way. Betty was kind and optimistic. Her light shone brightly.

Family was everything to Bet and she was everything to her family. Summer days spent swimming in Grams pool is a memory shared by all her grandchildren. Her words of advice and ability to listen were hallmarks of her love.

Bet will be missed by many, but none more than her three daughters with whom she had deep and impactful relationships with. We were blessed to have her as our Mom and will proudly carry on her legacy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY. Followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Melodies Center of Albany Medical Children's Hospital.
