Saratoga Springs, NY - Elizabeth Ann Rosse 75, passed away December 26, 2011 at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. Born on June 3, 1936 in Plattsburgh, NY, Ann was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Shambo. She moved to Saratoga in 1957 and worked for many years at the Saratoga Youth Commission Skating Rink and Man Power. Ann loved and cared for any stray animal that appeared on her doorstep claiming that St. Francis must have sent them. She was also an avid bowler. In addition to her parents Ann is predeceased by a sister, Mary Batten and two brothers, John and Kenneth Shambo. Survivors include two brothers, Robert (Jann) Shambo, Donald Shambo and a sister Margaret MacDougal; her children Robert (Razz) Rosse, Brian (Grace) Rosse, Maryann Fernandez, Kelly Delecce (Glen) and Suzanne (Robert II) Bradley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and her former husband, William Rosse. Relatives and friends may call from 11am to 12noon Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the William J. Burke and Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Neil Draves-Arpaia.
