Wilton, NY - Emilio J. Jordan, Jr., passed away Saturday (Mar. 30, 2013) at his residence, following a long illness. He was 62. Born on March 29, 1951 in Saratoga Springs, he is the son of Mary (Della Valle) Jordan and the late Emilio J. Jordan, Sr., who died Jan. 20, 1973. A 1970 graduate of the former St. Peter's Academy, he also was a graduate of Niagara University. In addition to his mother of Saratoga Springs, survivors include his daughter, Gina (Greg) Zelezny of Canajoharie; two sisters, Ann Marie (Clyde) Hess of Queensbury and Mary (Rick Johnson) Jordan of Saratoga Springs; one aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, several cousins and his long time faithful companion and beloved basset hound, Nunzio. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Thursday, April 4, 2013 in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery on West Ave. Memorials may be made in his name to the S.P.C.A. of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave., Queensbury, NY 12804.
