Saratoga Springs, NY - Emily Irene Williams Fridley was called from this earth by her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 17, 2008 at the age of 82. She was born on November 2, 1926 to parents Rev. and Mrs. Thomas Williams of the Utica area and graduated high school in Clayton, New York. She developed strong artistic talents, excelled in homemaking skills and worked with emotionally and physically challenged children. Emily is survived by her loving husband Wayne (Fritz) Fridley of over 62 wonderful years. They have four children - Kathleen Tompkins of Liverpool, NY; Wayne Jr. (deceased) of Maryland; Diane Turano of Colorado: and Cynthia McGibbon of Arizona. They have 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, living all over the country. Emily is also survived by her sisters Eleanor Radtke of Seneca Falls and Alice Roraback Gurnsey of Kirkville, as well as her brother Rev. Elwyn Williams of Oregon. She will be immensely missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends may call from 12noon -1pm on Saturday ( Nov. 22, 2008) at the William J.Burke and Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373) followed by a funeral service at 1pm.
