Saratoga Springs Emily R. Thompson of Wesley Nursing Home passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. She was 82. Born in Brooklyn on July 3, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Selby L. and Brigida (Bonagura) Burch. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas Patrick Thompson who passed away in 1977. Survivors include her sister, Brigida (Wesley) Dammes of Gansevoort; nieces, Chris (James) Bean of Ballston Spa and Erika (James) Lodispoto of Bellmore, NY as well as several great- nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Emily is predeceased by her son, Thomas Selby Thompson and her brother; William Preston Burch Relatives and friends may call from 7-9pm on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Our Ladys Chapel in St. Clements Parish Center, 231 Lake Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, December 4, 2009 at St. Clements Church by Rev. Francis E. Sullivan, C.Ss.R. Burial will be on Saturday, December 5, 2009 in the family plot in Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, Long Island.
