Saratoga Springs - Eric Del Gigante, age 66 of Saratoga Spring, NY passed July 10, 2019 at Saratoga Hospital.

Eric was born in Providence, RI, November 7, 1952, the son of Robert and Christine Del Gigante.  He is survived by his loving wife Aimee Del Gigante, mother Christine Del Gigante and son Jeffrey Del Gigante.  Other family members he leaves behind include sister Sheila Amaral and Valerie Morgan.  He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Eric achieved 3 different degrees that supported his passion and career in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.  Eric developed many close friendships with colleagues across multiple shipyards including General Dynamics Electric Boat, Newport News and Kesselring site.

Eric had a one of kind personality.  He loved movies and especially reciting his favorite lines. Telling stories and jokes, Eric made sure there was never a dull moment in conversations with friends and family.  He was very passionate and detailed with everything he did including scuba diving, modeling and teaching others whether on the job or outside of work.  Eric enjoyed traveling to the Caribbean with his loving wife and starting new adventures together.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm to 6pm on Monday, July 15, 2019 at William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.

A funeral service will be held starting at 6pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
