Saratoga Springs – Eskey "Otto" J. Moore Sr, a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs passed away from diabetes complications on Friday, March 11 ^th , 2022, at Saratoga Hospital.  Born May 4 ^th , 1958, he was the son of the late Landon McCord Moore, Sr. and Mary Frances (Thompson) Moore.

Eskey was a member of the Bethesda Episcopal Church. In his younger years he coached youth basketball, was an avid sports fan, and the ultimate "jokester."  He attended Florida A&M and RIT, studying Criminal Justice.  He was a longtime NYRA employee and loved the racetrack.  Eskey also loved live music, 4 ^th of July picnics, jazz festivals, and attending live sporting events.

He is survived by his daughters Tiffany, Sierra, Breanna and his son Eskey Jr. as well as his granddaughter, Laylah and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Landon Moore Jr., Jeffery George, and a sister Deborah Moore.

A memorial service will be celebrated by Fr. Landon Moore at Bethesda Episcopal Church, 26 Washington St, Saratoga Springs, NY, on the evening of Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 6pm.

Burial will be private.

The family would also like to thank Saratoga Springs EMS and the staff at Saratoga Hospital for their loving care over the many years.
