Greenfield - Ethel Van Ness of Saratoga Blvd. passed away at her residence on Saturday, August 1, 2009. She was 89. Born in New Rochelle, NY she was the daughter of the late Russell and Ethel (Simms) George. She is predeceased by her husband, Chester Van Ness who passed away in 1998. Survivors include two sons, Bruce Van Ness of Saratoga Springs and Brian Van Ness of Lino Lakes, MN, her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Sheralyn O'Brien. Chester and Ethel will be interred together at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
