Niagara Falls, NY - Floyd E. "Ducky" Myers, formerly of Saratoga Springs, passed away Thursday May 6, 2010 at Schoellkopff Nursing Home in Niagara Falls. He was 72. Born on August 23, 1937 in Milton, NY, he was the son of the late Boyd and Rose Ella Myers. He worked as a machinist at the Van Raalte Knitting Mill. Floyd loved to play Bingo, Euchre and watch his beloved Red Sox. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Mary; and his sibling, Guy, Raymond, Rose and Lydia. Survivors include his children, Cindy Roberts(Alden Eliason) of North Carolina, Mary A. Myers(Joseph Freshwater) and Guy Myers, all of Saratoga Springs, James Myers(Holly) of Niagara Falls; five grandchildren, Joseph (Kelly)Roberts, Joseph and Caitlin Freshwater, Savannah and Alexandria Myers; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Elizabeth Roberts; two brothers, David Myers of Ballston Spa, Lloyd Myers of Saratoga Springs and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 2:30 to 4:30pm Monday May 10, 2010 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373) followed by a funeral service at 4:30pm conducted by the Rev'd Thomas T. Parke, rector Bethesda Episcopal Church. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Knights of Columbus Home, 50 Pine Road at Washington Street, following the funeral service. Burial will be private.
