Gansevoort, NY - Frances M. DuFore of Gordon Lane passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 70. Born on June 24, 1940 in Mechanicville, NY she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Offenbacker) Baker. Frances was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #420 of Saratoga Springs. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Charles J. DuFore who passed away on May 25, 1999. Survivors include her brothers, John (Debbie) Baker of Moreau, Edward R. (Helen) Shiffert of Ballston Lake, Otto (Kathy) Shiffert of Saratoga Springs, Brian (Liz) Shiffert of Delmar; sister, Florence (Julain) DeLarosa of Mechanicville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8pm Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Friday, June 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot at Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville.
