Saratoga Springs, NY - On Tuesday, November 15, 2022 Frances Fay, loving wife and mother of five children, passed away at the age of 69.

Fran was born on September 5, 1953 in Buffalo, NY, to James and Martha (O'Connor) Porter. She devoted her life to her children; as a stay at home mother she shepherded her children and many others through their formative years into adulthood.

She received her nursing degree from Adirondack Community College in 2001, and practiced as a registered nurse, including Hospice Care, around the capital region for years. She then worked as an administrative assistant, teaching Sunday School and Faith Formation at St. Clements Church, before finding her professional passion as a Certified Fertility Care Practitioner with Gianna of Albany.

On July 12, 1975, she married Vincent Kevin Fay. They raised three daughters, Erin, Morgan, and Kristen, and two sons, Devin and Eric. Fran's greatest joy was raising her children and most recently, spending time with her two grandchildren, Cole and Kira.

Fran devoted her life to caring for others. Her family and faith were the most important parts of her life. Her spirituality fortified her with limitless strength and energy which she freely gave to others. All who met Fran were in awe of her grace, patience, generosity and love. Whether it was sewing clothes, tending to a scraped knee, or whipping up a delicious meal, she cared for those around her selflessly. Her love was boundless and she cultivated a home that was constantly filled with family, friends and laughter.

Fran is preceded in death by her daughter Erin. She is survived by her husband Vincent, children Devin, Morgan, Eric, and Kristen, grandchildren Cole and Kira, and younger siblings Timothy, Colleen, Shawn and Alice.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8pm, Tuesday, November 22 or from 12:30- 2:30pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY. At 2:30pm, the family will begin sharing words of remembrance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 3:30pm, on Wednesday November 23 at St. Clement's Church. The Mass will be live streamed at www.stclementschurch.com .
