Saratoga Springs, NY - Frances M. Herrmann, almost 100 years old, passed on Thursday, September 14, 2017.  She was formerly of Syosset, New York and Sarasota, Florida.

Frances was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 8, 1917 to John Heer and Olive Hubbard. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Charles, F Herrmann Jr. She graduated from George Washington High School, Bronx, New York and her last place of employment before retirement in 1976 was Potter Instruments of Plainview, New York.

Survivors include her three children, Charles F. Herrmann III (Diana Kay) of Lovettsville, Virginia, Peter J. Herrmann of Covelo, California and Nancy E. Fazio (Richard) of Saratoga Springs, New York.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, Charles Herrmann, Cheryl Lynn Herrmann, Gregory Herrmann, Amy Smith and Jill Johnson as well as six great grandchildren.

Burial will be at a later date in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York, at which time the family will celebrate her long life.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in her name to any of her favorite charities, Habitat for Humanity, ASPCA and Veterans of WWII organizations.
