Glens Falls, NY Francis A. DeSio passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at his home. He was 59. Born Jan. 22, 1952 in Norwich, CT he was the son of the late Anthony and Thelma (Stanley) DeSio. Francis lived in Norwich, CT until 1987 and relocated to Saratoga Springs, NY to be closer to his family.He earned a bachelors degree from St Anselm's College in Manchester, NH. Francis was an independent real estate appraiser in the greater capital region for over 20 year. Survivors include his children, Andrea Fanos and husband Paul of Rotterdam and Mark DeSio of Saratoga Springs; one brother Michael DeSio and wife Lori of Saratoga Springs and one sister Tina Flanagan and husband Francis of Fort Edward; one grandson Gregory Fanos of Rotterdam and his nieces and nephews Amy and Jeffrey DeSio, Sean and Kyle Flanagan. Relatives and friends may call from 2pm to 5pm Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A funeral service will follow at 5pm at the funeral home by Rev. Arthur B. Tuttle, C.Ss.R. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
