Saratoga Springs, NY - Francis G. Matrazzo, husband, father, grandfather and Master Gardner died on Thursday Jan. 8, 2015 in his home town of Saratoga Springs. Frank was born in Mechanicville, NY on February 22, 1940 to Dominic and Amelia Matrazzo. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Tony and Ralph Matrazzo. Frank had a very large heart that touched many lives. He is survived by his loving wife Judy who has been by his side for 51 years; his brother Milo Matrazzo of Portland ME; three children Denise Kirkpatrick (Ed), Daniel Matrazzo (Sue) and Debora Thompson (Gary); affectionately known as Pop by his grandchildren Megan, Rebecca, Daniel and Matthew, he will be dearly missed by his entire family. Frank was a landscaper who took great pride in his work, as an owner and operator of Knoll Springs Landscaping. His landscaping artwork can still be seen throughout Saratoga and surrounding communities. If Frank wasn't working, depending on the season, he could be found in the woods hunting or on his boat fishing. The outdoors was his passion that he shared and passed on to his son and grandsons. Frank will be remembered for his beautiful yard and his precious garden. But most of all he will be remembered for being a great husband, wonderful father, and grandfather. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Friday, January 16th at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude-Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
