SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY Frank C. Allen passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Saratoga Hospital two weeks after being diagnosed with liver cancer. He was 66. Born January 29, 1943 in Lansingburg, NY he was the son of the late Charles and Rose Allen and husband of the late Agnes Aggie Clapper-Allen, who died of cancer in 2001. Frank had a private excavating business and installed pools for many years before working for the Town of Colonie. Since his wifes passing, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, chatting with friends outside Uncommon Grounds or being with his dog and family. Survivors include his dog Dexter, his sister, Christina Ellithorpe of Saratoga Springs, nephews Thomas Santaski and Michael Santaski, both of Saratoga Springs, and nephew Rit Varriale of NC. Relatives and friends who would like to process to St. Agnes Cemetery, Boght Rd., Latham for a graveside service will meet 10am on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 at the William J.
