Saratoga Springs – Gail A. Walker, 75, passed away on May 6, 2022 at Saratoga Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1946 to the late Kenneth and Beatrice Martin Johnson.

A graduate of Albany High School, Gail started her professional career at the Salvation Army moving to the infirmary in Ballston Spa and finally working for the New York State Department of Tax and Finance until her retirement.  In 1972 Gail relocated to Ballston Spa and then again to Saratoga Springs in 1978. Outside of her professional career she was an avid game show watcher, especially "Let's Make a Deal" and "The Price Is Right." Not being able to travel much she also found enjoyment in watching happy movies on the Hallmark Channel.

Her proudest and happiest moments involved having her family nearby. Although she wouldn't admit it, she was so grateful to have been able to live with her son, Carlton later in life.

In addition to her parents, Gail is predeceased by her siblings Marilyn Snyder and David Johnson.

She leaves behind her son Carlton Walker, III and his wife Noel; grandchildren Brittany and Bradley Walker; step children Louis, Heather, Nicholas, and Jonathon Hall; and her nieces and nephews Patricia and Kevin Snyder and Valerie and Keith Snyder. She also leaves behind her great-nieces and nephews Taylor and Joshua Snyder, Nicole Snyder, Chris and Crystal Snyder, Alyssa and Tyler Burton, and KJ and Brandon Snyder and great-great nieces and nephew Nevaeh and Damien Snyder, and Adalynn Burton.
