Saratoga Springs, NY - Geneieveve "Genny" Mickenzi entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Genny was born May 8, 1949 to Gertrude (Miglucci) and the late Dominick Mickenzi and resided most of her life in Saratoga Springs. She worked as a school bus driver for the Saratoga Springs City School District, a position she enjoyed not only for the children she cared for but also the friendships she developed with her co-workers. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by many other family members who she cherished and loved during her lifetime. Genny will be missed by all of her survivors, most especially her mother, Gertrude Mickenzi; brother, Richard P. Miglucci; sister Victoria (Mickenzi) Harrington all of Saratoga Springs; sister, Nancy (Mickenzi) Draper of Washington; sister, Diane (Mickenzi) Nutting of Florida and many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends too numerous to list. The family would like to recognize the nursing staff of D-1 of Saratoga Hospital and Genny's doctors for their compassionate and professional care and kindness extended to her entire family. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs by Rev.
