Saratoga Springs, NY - Genevieve Michaud of Jones Rd. passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 80. Born on Nov. 10, 1929 in Kings Cove, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late William and Salina Maddox. Genevieve enjoyed cooking, bowling and baseball, her favorite team being the NY Mets. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Clements Church on Lake Ave. In addition to her parents, Genevieve is predeceased by her grandson John Jr. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Norbert of Saratoga Springs; daughters, Beverly A. Lant of Wilton , Catherine M. Michaud of Petluma, CA; sons Gregory L. (Eileen) Michaud of NC, Robert (Edith) Michaud and Raymond (Betty) Michaud all of Gansevoort, Gary (Mary Jo) Michaud of Stillwater; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 at St. Clements Church, 231 Lake Ave. Burial will be at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd.
