Saratoga Springs, NY – On Friday, January 2, 2026 George J. Biette, Sr. passed away surrounded by family members. Born July 1, 1937, he was the son of the late Louis and Laura Charbonneau Biette. He is predeceased by his wife of 61 years Patricia (Phoenix) Biette; his 4 sisters; brother; and recent friend Marge Richardson.

George worked at General Electric in Waterford for most of his life. After 3 months of retirement, he returned to work at the GE Waterford mailroom. He enjoyed The Racino in Saratoga, horse racing (during August you could always find him at the Race Track in Saratoga) and going to Estate sales.

He is survived by his son George (Sandra Green) Biette Jr.; daughters Janice (Ron) Thomas, Rhonda (Dan) Bouchard, and Marisa (Chris) Fuse; 8 grandchildren James (Heather), Randal, Spencer, Sierra, Bryce, Dylan, Quinn, Colin; and 6 great grandchildren Jacob, Natalie, Hope, Holden, Leah and Helena.

Memorial Donations in George's name can be made to Saratoga County Senior Meals Program.

Relatives and friends may call from 4pm to 6pm Friday, January 16, 2026 at the William J Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
