Ballston Spa, NY – George S. Welden, 87 passed away on August 25, 2023. George was born on April 7, 1936 in Saratoga Springs, NY.

He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Camarro Welden; and his brothers Henry and Joseph.

George is survived by his daughter, Deborah Mason and her husband William of Galway; his grandchildren William Mason and his wife Charuni of Hartland, VT and Heather Mason of Galway; and his great granddaughter Maya Mason of Hartland, VT. He is also survived by his sisters Frances Haviland of Saratoga Springs, Mary Ellen King of Glens Falls, and Marsha Klementowski of Georgia; a brother Frank of Greenfield; and many nieces and nephews.

George, also known by many as Buddy, used to love to talk about working for Stewarts in Saratoga, as a truck driver. He came to know and love the Dake family, even staying in touch with Gary Dake to this day. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
