Saratoga Springs, NY - Gertrude A. DeCerbo, 91, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Born in Schenectady, Gert was the daughter of the late Thomas and Maria (Barreca) Gugliuzza. She was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, and after raising a family, she pursued a 30 year career in real estate with Realty USA in Saratoga Springs. Her favorite pastime was enjoying her family. She also was an avid bridge player who belonged to various bridge clubs over the years.

She was predeceased by her husband Michael A. DeCerbo whom she married on June 14, 1947, her sister Mary Schwartz, brother Tony Gugliuzza and son-in-law Kay Coffey.

Gert is survived by her children, David A. DeCerbo (Linda) of Manhasset, Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) DeCerbo Coffey and Michael A. DeCerbo Jr. of Saratoga Springs; grandchildren, Danielle DeCerbo (Elyianna Kaiser) and Christopher DeCerbo; great-grandchildren, Hugo Kaiser and Leo Kaiser, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 at William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway (518-584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at The Church of Saint Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
