Saratoga Springs, NY - Gladys Martha (Homan McDonough) Leavitt died peacefully on Oct. 4, 2012 at the age of 96. Gladys was born in Lake Luzerne, NY on April 8, 1916 to George and Lillian Mae (Dean) Homan. She is predeceased by husbands, Floyd McDonough and Edward Leavitt; her sons, Richard Daniel McDonough, James McDonough, Timothy Edward McDonough and granddaughter, Michelle Lynn McDonough. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Mary (Richard) McDonough of Saratoga Springs; grandson, Daniel Richard (Danielle) McDonough of W. Melbourne, Fl; granddaughters, Theresa Ann (Gregory) Piekarz of Cambridge, NY, Susan Ann (David) Delos Santos of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Carolyn Jean (Michael) Rogers of Colorado Springs, CO. Gladys is also survived by great grandchildren, Victoria McDonough, Andrew McDonough, Kylie McDonough, Makayla McDonough, Colleen Griffin, Shawn Griffin, Michael Delos Santos, KatieJo Delos Santos, and Juan Delos Santos. Gladys was full of spunk and loved to sing. She imparted many original sayings upon her family and many friends and was always laughing and smiling.
