Saratoga Springs, NY – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gladys E. Trasente, 88 on November 15, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Leonardo Trasente. They shared more than 60 years of love and companionship.

Born on Christmas day in 1935, Gladys lived in Puerto Rico, NJ, NY, and IL, ending up in Saratoga Springs for the last years of her life. Throughout her life, she exemplified grace, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family. A dedicated professional, Gladys worked as an accountant for International Playthings in NJ, retiring after many years of service. She was known for her gentle nature and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued.

Gladys is survived by her loving husband, Leonardo Trasente; her children Carmen (Paul) Graver, Leonardo Trasente, Jr., and Dr. Susana (Donald) Lehan. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Sarah (Brian) Babcock, Jack Graver, Samantha Trasente, and Leonardo J. Trasente; and a doting great grandmother to Isabelle and Sophie Babcock. She is also survived by many other family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21st at 10:00AM at St. Clement's church, 231 Lake Ave. Followed by burial in Greenridge Cemetery. A repast will follow the burial.

Gladys' family was her greatest joy, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
