Saratoga Springs, NY - Glenn R. DelGrosso, 61, passed away at his home Monday morning, Feb. 1, 2010 with his wife and daughter by his side. The cause of death was leukemia. He was born in Wellsboro, PA Sept. 11, 1948 to Margaret and Floyd DelGrosso. Glenn graduated from Addison Central School in 1966 and went on to receive a pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy in 1971. He spent much of his career as a hospital pharmacist, but spent the last ten years working as a Pharmacy consultant with the NYS Department of Health. Glenn was an avid New York Yankees fan and was looking forward to the upcoming season. Among his many other interests were travel, photography, cooking, literature and creative writing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Priscilla; his loving daughter Cassie (Casey) Burt of Atlanta, GA; his parents Margaret and Floyd DelGrosso of Addison, NY and four brothers, Michael (Betty) DelGrosso and Anthony (Aggie) DelGrosso all of Painted Post, NY, David DelGrosso of Addison, NY and Daniel (Janet) DelGrosso of Montour Falls, NY. Glenn was an extraordinary man as a husband, as a father and as a friend. His integrity, humor, warmth and honesty will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
