Saratoga Springs, NY- Gregory Mark Brown, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2024 with his wife by his side.

Greg was born on April 10, 1950 in Kingston, PA to parents Thomas and Lillian Madigan Brown. The Brown family moved several times within Pennsylvania, spending a few years in Pittsburgh where Greg became a devoted fan of the Steelers and Pirates. The family settled in Wilmington, DE where Greg graduated from Alexis I. duPont High School.

Greg met his wife Kathy at St. Bonaventure University in the fall of 1971, and they married in Afton, NY on July 21, 1973. After college Greg began a career in sales with Procter & Gamble until the family moved to Saratoga Springs, NY in 1983 where he continued working in sales with International Paper. After finishing his sales career, Greg became a school bus driver and truly enjoyed driving the kids to and from school each day for 9 years.

Greg loved spending time with his family, including summer vacations at the Jersey Shore, family gatherings on Afton Lake, and trips to Acadia National Park. He also loved playing golf, coaching his son's soccer teams, and listening to music, especially the Grateful Dead.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Kathy Brown, their children Neal (Cristina) Brown and Jameson (Odelle) Brown, grandsons Lucas and Nicholas Brown, sisters Barbara (Bill) Bundesen and Jane (Rex) Hester, and many nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas and Mark.
