Pflugerville, TX – Harold L. Crandall, formerly of Saratoga Springs, passed away at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX on Tuesday February 9, 2016. He was 87.

Born on December 12, 1928 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late George and Amy (Lester) Crandall. He worked for the Saratoga County Highway Dept. until his retirement. Harold enjoyed sketching, wood carving, football, riding his scooter and he never turned down a dessert.

In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Ella (Harrington) Crandall; two sister, Dorothy Harrington and Helen Ernst and two brothers, John and George Crandall.

Survivors include his daughter Kathleen Carmon and her husband Chris, Sr. of Pflugerville, TX; three grandchildren Chris Carmon, Jr. of Hong Kong, Marie and Kelley Carmon also of Pflugerville; one great-granddaughter Meranda Franklin; his little Chihuahua Mason as well as several nieces and nephews.  A special thank you to John Harington and his late wife Peggy, Lucille Kilbara, Roger Reynolds and Chris Carmon, Sr.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6:30pm Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A funeral home service will be conducted at 6:30pm and burial will be in the spring.
