Saratoga Springs, NY - It is with great sadness that the family of Harold E. Roods, Jr. (Timmy) announce his passing on Friday August 14, 2020, at the age of 72. He was born on November 11, 1946 in Saratoga Springs, NY. He was the son of the late Harold E. Roods and Leanore Callahan Roods McIntosh.

Timmy grew up and remained in Saratoga Springs and enjoyed the outdoors, drawing and time with friends and family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Glenmore and West Circular.

Along with his parents, Timmy was preceded in death by his loving sister Nancy Roods Green of New Braunfels, TX. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his sister Diane Roods Ebert (William) of Oak Ridge, TN; his brothers Richard Roods of Asheville, NC and John Roods of Portland, ME; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you to his friend and mentor Cal Spring.

He will be cremated and his remains will be buried along with his parents at Gurn Springs cemetery. At this time there will be no service due to COVID-19.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fast Offering Fund at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (10 Glenmore Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866).
