Saratoga Springs, NY - Harold R. McCormick passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Westmount Health Facility in Queensbury. He was 85. Born at home on March 12, 1927 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Andrew P. and Beatrice Palmateer McCormick. Harold worked for the Ballston Knitting Mill, retiring after 25 years there. He enjoyed antiques and most of all he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by a son, Harold R. McCormick, Jr,; two brothers, William and Francis McCormick and a sister, Charlotte Knowlton. Survivors include his ex-wife, Verna; one brother, Andrew S. (Tuffy) McCormick, two sister, Barbara Brockway, Beverly Hagadorn and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 12noon to 1pm Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Braodway, Saratoga Springs. Funeral services will be at 1pm at the funeral home.
