Saratoga Springs, NY - Harold W. Soderberg, Jr. passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 78. Born on August 1, 1930 in Queens, NY he was the son of the late Walter and Christine Soderberg. Harold was a US Navy veteran and had been employed as a Pinkerton guard at the Saratoga Race Track. Survivors include his daughter, Dawn of Saratoga Springs and his son, Shawn of Woodstock; one sister of Queens and his beloved companion, Freda Martino of Saratoga Springs. There will be no calling hours. Burial with military honors will be Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 1pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes of 628 North Broadway (584-5373).
