Saratoga Springs, NY - Hazel B. MacKenzie passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Wesley Health Care Center. Born on January 19, 1917 in NYC, she was the daughter of the late Anthony James and Ethel Mae Bove. After graduating from Adelphi University she worked for several years in NYC as an office manager, before marrying and raising a family. She is survived by her three children, Leigh MacKenzie of Wappinger Falls, Cory (Vicki) MacKenzie of Allen, Texas, Ellen Hickey of Saratoga Springs; her grandchildren, Meghan, Shannon, Conall, Bryn, Riley and Keavy MacKenzie and her good friend JD. The family wishes to thank the staff on 5 Springs, Wesley Health Care Center, for the kindness and compassion that was shown during their mother's brief stay there. In accordance with the family's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
