Saratoga Springs – Helen Gordon passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 96. She is the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Bohringer) Scheuerman. Born April 3, 1928 in Peekskill, NY she lived much of her life in Saratoga Springs with her second husband of 40-plus years Samuel "Sid" Gordon, who passed away earlier this year.

Among her many attributes, Helen was kind, gentle, humorous and always game to take part or offer help. She was active at the Temple's Jewish Community Center and the Disabled American Veteran's (DAV) area chapter with Sid, who served many years as the region's DAV chaplain. She was quiet and unassuming, strong and stubborn, both lovely and loved.

Survivors include sons William Weber and Richard Weber and daughter Susan Weber Suffolk. Extended family include daughters Maureen Erickson, Rhonda Aydlett, and son Tim Gordon, along with numerous and much-loved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also predeceased by her first husband Herbert Weber.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Congregation Shaara Tfille, 84 Weibel Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
