Saratoga Springs, NY - Henriette A. Waldinger of County Rt. 67 passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at her home. She was 92. Born on March 11, 1917 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Rebecca Grimm Clausen. Henriette worked as a Supervisor/Seamstress at VanRaalte Co. in Saratoga Springs for 25 years, retiring in the early 1970's. She was a member of the Quaker Springs Sunshiners for many years and worked as their tour coordinator. She was a real people person. One of her greatest passions was her vegetable garden. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Hans Waldinger; two brothers, Charles and Lawrence Clausen and her brother-in-law, Frank Seaman. Survivors include one son, Allan Waldinger and his wife Joyce of Saratoga Springs; one daughter, Adele Wagman and her husband Jon of Ulster Park, NY; one sister, Dorothy Seaman of Ballston Spa; two sisters-in-law, Beatrice Clausen of Gansevoort and Marjorie Clausen of Saratoga Springs; six grandchildren, Mark, Glenn and Scott Waldinger , Marcy Wagman, Gregg Wagman, Tara Holly; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11am Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Funeral services will follow at 11am at the funeral home. The Rev. Adam Wiegand will officiate.
