Mechanicville, NY - Howard H. Reilly passed away at home on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. He was 88. Born on July 25, 1926 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Howard J. and Lula M. (Harris) Reilly. Howard was married for 62 years to the late Alma (Connors) Reilly who passed away in Jan. 2012. He was also predeceased by a grandson, Sean Reilly. Survivors include three daughters, Erin (Harold) Chaskey of Plattsburgh, Alice Reilly of Lee, MA, Nora (Geoff) Neal of Stoneham, MA; six sons, Patrick Reilly of Malta, Thomas Reilly of Mechanicville, Peter (Brenda) Reilly of Ballston Spa, Daniel (Gail) Reilly of Saratoga Springs, Timothy (Diane) Reilly of Mechanicville and Michael Reilly of Atlanta, GA; nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews including Joe and Ann McMahon of Saratoga Springs. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at St. Mary's Church, 167 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Saratoga Hospital Foundation,Patient Care, 211 Church St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
