Round Lake, NY - Irene Elena Burke-Jones, 77, of Round Lake, peacefully passed away on February 11, 2021. She died in Saratoga Hospital. Although she battled multiple conditions including MS and Pneumonia for years, she was better known for her healthy spirit.

Irene was born on October 23, 1943 to the late Elsie and Dan Burke in the town of Weymouth, MA. After Irene graduated from St. Agnes "Shearings" High School in 1962, she went into the workforce with a long career working at Bender Labs in Albany and then Social Services of Saratoga County.

She was very passionate about life and antiques, and always kept things interesting. Irene was also very active in the Round Lake Antique shows and the Brookside Museum. She was a collector of antiques as well a collector of quotes such as "...if I had more time, I'd write a shorter letter" and "your taste is in your mouth!"

Irene was predeceased by her parents, Elsie & Dan. She is survived by her sister, Florence Cruz; her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Lynn Jones; and her three grandchildren, Tony, Nina and Elena.

The family wishes to celebrate Irene's life in private.
