Saratoga Springs, NY - Isabell Furgess passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at her home. She was 95. Isabell spent her younger years in North Carolina and Maryland. While in her teens she moved to NYC where she met her husband, Thomas Furgess. They moved to Saratoga Springs where they owned and operated Tom's Lodge. Isabell was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Sept. 30, 1973 and touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her hospitality and generous spirit and spent much of her time in her ministry teaching others the bible. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom. She is survived by four nieces, two nephews, a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, an adopted nephew (Will), and many loving friends. A memorial service will be held 7pm Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, on the corner of Rt. 50 and Edie Rd in Wilton.
