Saratoga Springs, New York & Davie, Florida - Jacqueline (Jackie) A. Desmarais, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt peacefully passed away at Saratoga Hospital on Wednesday September 15th, after 82 full years of life. She was born on July 14th, 1939, in Lowell, Massachusetts to Arthur and Armande Patenaude (Daunais). Her loss will be felt deeply, and memory cherished by her devoted husband Edward "Jack", of 62 years, their three sons Edward "Mark" Desmarais (Cecile) of Glastonbury, Connecticut, Brian H. Desmarais of Davie, Florida, David J. Desmarais (Colleen) of N. Mankato, Minnesota, and her mother-in law Doris Wessen of Lowell, Massachusetts.

Jackie will affectionately be remembered as "Grandma" to Melissa, Nicole, Taryn, Taylor, Luke, Zachary, Jack, and Wyatt. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loving called her "Auntie".

Jackie was the oldest sibling and was predeceased by her sisters Gloria Muldoon (Larry), Lorraine (Kilcoyne), and Carol Bedell (John).

Jackie grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts and attended Lowell High School and was the Treasurer of the Student Council, graduated in 1958 with high honors and as a National Honor Society member. She met Jack at a dance at the Commodore Ballroom and they were married on August 15th, 1959. Jackie started her career at Raytheon, while Jack finished his studies at Merrimac College. She later went on to work at Mass Mutual in Springfield, MA, the University of Bridgeport and later Dictaphone in Bridgeport, CT.

Jackie had many interests including dancing, gardening, crafting, sailing, and golf. She enjoyed traveling, cruising, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
