Greenfield Center, NY - James P. Carli, passed away Friday August 27, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, NY at the age of 53 from Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Born on January 29, 1957 in North Adams, MA, he is the son of Ivan and Nola Bullett Carli. He married Charlene Minogue on August 8, 1981 at All Saints Church in Granville, NY. Jim was a 1979 graduate of Siena College and a 1982 graduate of SUNY Albany with a masters degree in English education. He taught English at Saratoga Springs High School for 27 years. Survivors include his wife of 29 years Charlene Minogue Carli and their children Matthew, Ryan and Monette, all of Greenfield Center, his parents Ivan and Nola Carli of North Adams, MA, four brothers; Michael Carli and his wife Christina of Fairfax, VT, Francis Carli and his wife Kathy of North Adams, MA, David Carli and his wife Helen of Brookfield, CT, John Carli of North Adams, MA, mother-in-law Charlotte Z. Minogue of Granville, brother-in-laws; John (Jack) Minogue Jr. and his wife Theresa of Saratoga Springs, Robert Minogue of Queensbury, sister-in-laws; Charlotte A. Minogue and Colleen Minogue Hicks and her husband Clark, all of Granville and seven nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Silvio and Ida Carli, maternal grandparents Lloyd and Ruth Bullett and father-in-law John (Jack) Minogue, Sr. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, September 1 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am Thursday at St. Mary's Church, 23 Bulkley Ave., Granville, NY. A private burial for family and close friends will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Granville.
