Wilton, NY - James Duncan Clark died Wednesday (March 10, 2010) at Saratoga Hospital. He was 92. Born on Nov. 26, 1917 in Rothesay, Scotland, he was the son of the late John S. Clark and Jesse Hannah Duncan Clark. He was previously a resident in Whiting, NJ, a long time resident of Rocky Point and Port Jefferson, Long Island and most recently at the Home of the Good Shepherd in Wilton, NY. James was married to Anna Carolina Lyberg on April 24, 1943 and he served in the United States Merchant Marine during World War Two. He was an avid crossword puzzler. In addition to his parents, and wife, Anna Lyberg Clark, who died on May 25, 2003, her was predeceased by a brother, John S Clark and a sister, Mary E Ross. Survivors include his daughters Carol Ann Schroeher (Bill), of Sergeantsville, NJ and Jean Abati (Ernie), of Boca Raton Fl; his son, James L Clark (Denise), of Wilton; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services and interment will be held at the Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Sinai, Long Island on Monday (March 15, 2010). The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, PCAs and the housekeeping staff at the Saratoga Hospital X unit, for their caring support.
