Greenfield, NY - James Lenartz, 73, died on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Ellis Hospital. Born on April 3, 1944 in Ontario Canada, he was the son of the late Henry Andrew Lenartz and Rose Ann Mullin Lenartz.

James, also known as Jimmy or Papa Bear, has been happily residing with Saratoga Bridges for the past 25 years. Jimmy could most often be found playing tricks on staff or chuckling to himself while sneaking off with a prized possession. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his friends and people he held dear.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his sister Mary Ann Seelow, and brother Theadore Andrew Lenartz. He is survived by his nephew Theadore Lawrence Lenartz Jr. and sister in-law Carol Lenartz of Saratoga Springs.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am to 11:30am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).
A funeral service will follow at the funeral home and burial will be in the spring at Barkersville Cemetery.
