He dedicated 47 years of his career to Hollingsworth & Vose Papermill, retiring as a respected superintendent. Outside of his professional life, Jim was an avid dairy farmer, a passion that reflected his tireless work ethic and connection to the land. In retirement, he found joy in crafting “Tin Men,” unique creations that are now cherished keepsakes among family and friends.

Jim is survived by his loving children: Timothy (Mary) Ruhle, Thomas (Aimee) Ruhle, and Terri (Brian) Piotrowicz. He was a proud grandfather to Louis, James, Kara, Richard, Brent, Todd, Ashley, Brian, Kate, Shawn, Steven, Zach, Robert, and Lukas, and a devoted “Pop” to twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Roberta Hewitt and sisters Frances Turney and Shirley Clark.
