Saratoga Springs - Jamie K. MacCollam, age 36, passed away Wednesday October 4, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 26, 1981, in Albany, NY to Kevin and Janet (Mastrianni) MacCollam. Seven years to the day of his birth, Jamie became a big brother to Jennifer (MacCollam) Cummings.

Jamie received his education through BOCES programs in Saratoga Springs, NY.  He was an inspiration, and touched everyone who he came in contact with. The strength and courage Jamie had throughout his life was a feat most people can't even imagine.  He was a strong advocate for himself and lived his life the way he wanted to.  Jamie was a man of many different likes and interests; including watching old shows like Hazel, Dennis the Menace, Mr. Ed, Julia Childs and I Love Lucy. He had an extensive library of music and movies.  One of his favorite bands was the Moody Blues; he was able to see them in concert several times.  Jamie loved to watch shows about cooking, looking up recipes, and trying different foods. He loved to eat and his favorite meals included his family's special recipes along with bacon cheeseburgers, French toast, Chinese food, and Pepsi. He loved electronics of all kinds and was a member of radio station WSBR.  He loved NASCAR and spending time with his family.   In his youth, Jamie was an avid painter.

Jamie is survived by his parent's Kevin and Janet (Mastrianni) MacCollam; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer (MacCollam) Cummings and TJ Cummings; his Uncle Vincent Mastrianni and numerous cousins.
