Saratoga Springs, NY - Janet A. Whitehouse of Allen Drive passed away Friday (Oct. 2, 2009) at home with her loving family by her side. She was 54. Born on April 13, 1955 in England, she was the daughter of Jessi Ferguson Smith and the late Leslie B. Smith. Janet was an Advanced EMT for nine years with the Speculator Ambulance Corp. in Speculator, NY. She loved all animals and was always taking in strays to give a good home to. Janet's greatest joy was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Suvivors include her loving husband, Kenneth W. Whitehouse of Saratoga Springs; her daughter Cara Ebert (David) of Saratoga Springs; her sons, Darren Whitehouse of Rome, NY, Stuart Whitehouse (Becky Bussert) of Glens Falls, Scott Whitehouse (Stephanie Clayton) and Brandon Whitehouse all of Saratoga Springs; her grandchildren, McKenzie and Olivia Ebert and her loving cats, Jessica, Ali, Oreo and Tweet. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Smith and her brothers, Stuart and Ian Smith, all of England. Relatives and friends may call from 12noon to 1:30pm Tuesday (Oct. 6, 2009) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Burial will be 2:30pm at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
