Clifton Park, NY - Dr. Jay Lionel Agranov, OD passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 at Albany Medical Center. He was 66. Born July 15, 1943 in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of the late Dr. Saul S. and Cecil Agranov. Dr. Arganov owned and operated Sterling Optical in Clifton Park. Survivors include his wife Linda Agranov of Gaithersburg, MD; one daughter, Cher Agranov of Germantown, MD; one son, Sean Agranov, daughter-in-law Sharon and granddaughter Samantha all of Olney, MD and two brothers, Dr. Robert Agranov and Dr. Douglas Agranov. A memorial service will be at 10am Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373) officiated by Rabbi Linda Motzkin of Temple Sinai.
