Obituary
Saratoga Springs, NY - Jean Margaret Cummings, 80, of Saratoga Springs, beloved wife of the late Edward L. Cummings, passed away February 10, 2017.
Born on November 20, 1936 in Ballston Spa, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Margaret M. (Lynch) Jordan.
Jean grew up in Saratoga Springs and was educated at St. Peter's Academy. She lived and worked in New York City for many years and returned to Saratoga County later in life, where she worked as a secretary while earning an Associates Degree at Adirondack Community College. She enjoyed line dancing and spending time with friends, old and new. She will be remembered for her love of animals, sweet smile and subtle wit.

Survivors include her loving brother, John A. (Anna) Jordan of Greenfield Center and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call after 10am Tuesday (Feb. 14, 2017) in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am in the Church, celebrated by Rev. John D. Kirwin.
Private interment will immediately follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Saratoga Regional YMCA, 290 West Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
